Bandelier National Monument

On Thursday we took a mini-vacation together as a family before Matthew started his new job. (For those who don't know Matthew is now working at Morgan Stanley) We knew this might be the last time we would be able to get away for awhile. We took the girls up to Bandelier for the day and they had a lot of fun. We printed off a booklet for Hannah to complete as we walked through the park and she had activities she had to complete. She enjoyed looking for butterflies, bugs, squirrels and we even got to see a snake. At the end of the 1.2 mile hike she showed the rangers at the visitor center her completed book and was given a Junior Ranger Badge. It made her day and she learned a lot too!

Wii Fit

We got the Wii Fit game acouple of weeks ago and Hannah LOVES to play and do the Yoga and run and work out with it. I caught this picture as Hannah was doing the Half Moon and Rachel decided to join in! This is for you Aunt Tammy!

Happy 4th of July on the 15th!

We had a low key 4th of July. We had Matt's mom over for a BBQ and just hung out most of the day. We let Hannah play with Sparklers which she really liked and later in the evening Matt set off a few fireworks out front and we watched with our neighbors while they lit theirs. This year was really nice because Hannah finally watched with out someone convincing her it was pretty and fun. Last year she was ok but the year before she had to be inside with the TV on to occupy her from all the noise. We were happy this year that she had fun with the fireworks and so far Rachel really likes them. Enjoy the pictures!
