Pumpkin Pie and Mayhew Dressing

Yesterday Hannah spent a lot of time in the kitchen, She and her friend Noah made homemade pumpkin pies (I baked and pureed a pumpkin) They had a ton of fun adding spices and mixing all the ingredients.

Mayhew Dressing is a family recipe that Matt's family has made for a long time. It has to be made the night before so the spices are just right. Hannah helped Grandma last night, and had a blast getting her hands all gooey and slimy from mixing the dressing, a spoon just doesn't work right!

Enjoy the pictures and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Look Who's One!!!

Rachel Lee's First Birthday!!!

Saturday Rachel Lee turned one! I can't believe a year has gone by already! She is getting so big and starting to talk and say things. She loves to say "Duke, Duke, Duke" (our lab for those who dont know) We had a party on Sunday. She had fun with all of the presents and the wrapping paper, but her favorite part by far was the cake. She dug right in and by the end was covered!
She had her one year check up on Monday and weighed in at 17.5lbs and 28inches. She is in the 10th percentile for weight and 25th for height, just a little tiny pumpkin!
Enjoy some pictures from her celebration.

Little Lobo

Matthew and I have had Lady Lobo Basketball season tickets for 5 seasons now. Last year we got another seat for Hannah to join us at all of the games. Hannah LOVES the Lobos, watching only the ladys play (we took her to a mens game and she was not happy) and she really enjoys the cheerleaders asking when she can be one. We took Rachel to this years Season (Exhibition) opener, she enjoyed it. Enjoy a couple pictures of Rachel's first Lobo game.

Happy Halloween

We had a great time carving our pumpkins on Tuesday night and last night we took the girls trick or treating. Hannah did really well, even when one of the people at the end of the street scared her. He had a cauldron outside that he hit a button and smoke and noise started coming out of it. She wanted to go straight home but we convinced her that it was just smoke and we could continue around the block. Rachel rode in the stroller and everyone just thought she was too cute!

Enjoy the pictures of the carving and the girls in their costumes!
